Amaia Flor was born in 2015 as a result of an excessive and unusual passion for the world of wine. Like every path, with obstacles to overcome that have made us learn and value what is truly important in Amaia Flor wines: teamwork, honesty, passion and dedication to this world of wine.
We work with small annual productions, looking for organic producers, quality harvests, and maintaining totally traditional production processes in cooperation with our winery partner from Fuenteálamo, Albacete – Spain.
The vineyards are located at an average altitude of about 800 meters above sea level in the interior of Alicante, Murcia and Albacete. We belong to the Jumilla Protected Designation of Origin and logically we work with native varieties, at the end of the day our wines are terroir-driven.
We try to improve our wine portfolio every day, and the wines we offer are single varietal wines, meaning wines with a single grape variety and a low intervention, with a single strain that contributes 100% of the characteristics of the grape.
Garnacha Tintorera, Monastrell and Macabeo grapes in all their purity are present in our wine portfolio. 100% authentic! Deep down it also means that getting a good Amaia Flor Garnacha is more difficult (or worthwhile!) as it is a wine without mixtures, it must come out round and please our public, and for this reason the altitude becomes more important, the grape selection, the weather at harvest, the artisanal processes, etc.
Today the Amaia Flor group is present at national fairs and soon also at international ones with the aim of spreading our wines, our passion, all over the world.
